ROBOTICS CLUB

Our robotics club is our newest club at Emmanuel and is still very early in its launch, so there is plenty of time for you to get involved and help shape the course of this engaging endeavor!

  • Robotics Club is an optional club for students that helps introduce them to robotics and computer programming.

  • Yes! Classical education, in teaching children how to think, is ahead of the curve when it comes to preparing our children to be producers of technology rather than passive consumers.

The skills of logic and reasoning which apply in computer and robotics programming are an integral part of a classical curriculum. Logic itself can be expressed as a formal mathematical language. A student who understands the concept of the contrapositive, if-then statements, and logical fallacies requires only a review of contextual syntax to program any machine.

  • The Robotics Club is available to students on club Fridays.

At Emmanuel Christian School, we believe technology is not a means of education, it is an end of education, one of many ends that can be successfully pursued with a well-rounded liberal arts foundation.
