Thank you for your interest in Emmanuel Christian School. ECS has a long and storied history as a leader in Christian education going back to our inception in 1972. Our central passion at Emmanuel is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We teach an integrated classical Christian curriculum, recognizing Christ is Lord of every subject and understanding theology is the queen of the sciences.
STEP 1: Review and Agree with our Beliefs, philosophy, requirements, and curriculum.

First and foremost our school is a Christian school. That means that we are Christians committed to proclaiming the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, the payment for sin through His death, burial, and resurrection (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-8). We aim to cultivate souls through truth, goodness, and beauty. We believe education is an end in itself, and that the liberal arts are inherently worthy of study. Our students learn how to learn. That is, we endorse a classical view of education.

Admission to our school depends not merely on academics, but on alignment with our broader philosophy and demonstrated commitment to Christian education. Families of students must:
Be members or regular attendees of a church of like faith (at least one parent/guardian professing faith);
Understand classical Christian education and be committed to it;
Agree to willingly and joyfully follow all rules/requirements of ECS;
Agree to work through any issues in relation to ECS directly with the Administration in the spirit of Matthew 18:15-20.
We contract with teachers for an entire academic year. We want to make sure you understand the nature of our educational process and are committed to a classical, Christian philosophy. Once you enroll, you are making a commitment to pay all tuition and fees (note, we do allow tuition to be paid in installments). We act in good faith expecting that you will honor this commitment.

Our curriculum is chosen to support our educational philosophy. Broadly, our school is broken down into our grammar school (K3 – 6th), logic school (7th-8th) and rhetoric school (9th-12th). In our grammar school, the emphasis is on learning to read (through phonics), learning basic facts, and learning the vocabulary of each subject. As students get older, they begin to question things more. We lean into that natural development, and begin to teach them logic. In our rhetoric school, the focus is on demonstrating mastery through persuasion. This involves both speaking and writing.

Tuition & Fees
Below are the Tuition and Fees to attend Emmanuel Christian School. Our tuition and fees are broken up into three parts. There is an enrollment fee, tuition, and a service fee.
Application & Registration fees
There is a one-time new student non-refundable application fee for first-time students who are applying. In addition to an application fee, there is also an enrollment fee for both new and returning students. The fee schedule is below.
New Student Application - $30
Registration Fees:
By March 15th - FREE!
March 16th - April 30th - $65
After May 1st -$100
2024-2025 Tuition
Emmanuel Christian School utilizes the services of FACTS for tuition and fees. Payments may be made via a checking or savings account, or a credit/debit card. FACTS charges an annual fee based upon the payment plan option which ECS has no control over. For those families who pay-in-full before the beginning of the school year, ECS will cover the cost of the FACTS processing fees.
K3-12th Grade - $4,800 Annually / $400 Monthly*
* Monthly is estimate based on a 12 month payment plan through FACTS. Additional payment plans available.
Book & Services Fee
Emmanuel Christian School charges a book/service fee which helps cover the costs associated with things such as standardized testing, classroom materials, activities, science lab fees, physical education equipment, and ACCS dues. Because we start ordering texts for the following year by March, we ask this fee be paid as close to enrollment/re-enrollment as possible.
K3-12th Grade - $450
Financial Aid
As a ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church we want Christian education to be as accessible to as many people as possible. We also have limited resources which we want to distribute for the greatest impact. Financial aid is available through an application process (which requires verification of income). If you want a classical Christian education for your student(s) and financial concerns are the only thing holding you back, we strongly encourage you to work through our enrollment process and apply for financial aid.
STEP 2: Inquire about Enrollment
After reviewing our beliefs, philosophy, requirements, and curriculum, if you prayerfully believe that the Lord would have you partner with Emmanuel Christian School to provide a classical and Christ-centered education to your child, we invite you to complete the inquiry form below. Once we receive your form, we will review it and make sure that we have availability for your child. Once availability is confirmed, we will reach out to schedule you for a tour!

PSS. You will need to fill out an inquiry for each student who will be enrolling at ECS.
STEP 3 & 4: Interview and apply
Once your inquiry is approved and you have toured ECS, you will be scheduled for your interview with our Head of School, Mr. Josiah Batten and if you are a good fit for our school community, you may be invited to apply for admission to Emmanuel Christian School. Our school partners with FACTS and the application process will be completed entirely within the FACTS student information system.
