Weekly Update - September 27th, 2024

Dear ECS Family,

Next week students will be joining their Guilds. While students do indicate a preference, we also have to keep the numbers relatively even between Guilds. Still not sure what the Guild system is all about? It is the center of student life at Emmanuel. Guilds are a support system, a method for building camaraderie and extolling virtue, but most of all they are the primary means of inculcating school spirit and building our identity as Eagles.

Friday, October 25th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM is our Trunk-or-Treat. We routinely see 250-300 participants, so this represents a significant outreach and opportunity to serve our community. If you’d like to host a trunk as a parent, please sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/hXEwN5wv21hUpBX77

Finally, we need substitute teachers! We’ve been attempting to build our list, but illness and need have far exceeded our ability to keep pace. If you or someone you know is interested, please obtain a copy of our employment application at our Careers page.
