Weekly Update - March 9th, 2024

Dear ECS Family,

Thank you for your participation in the Easter Egg sale. We sold 1,003 eggs! We’ll announce the top selling individuals, grades, and guilds in-person on Monday, and then share that publicly. Fundraisers like this help provide extra things for projects like our library, classrooms, and student activities.

This Thursday, March 14th, is the last day of the 3rd 9-weeks. We expect to have report cards out on Friday, March 22nd.

Early re-enrollment ends at 11:59 PM on Friday, March 15th. We strongly encourage not waiting until the last minute, as FACTS is known to glitch during periods of high activity. If you encounter difficulties, please contact the Office.

On that note we had a very successful Open House last night, all families that have not yet scheduled an interview. We have another Open House scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th. We are thankful to all of you who recommend friends, share our posts, and otherwise promote our school.

I want to thank Amanda George and the PTA for their work on making Seuss Week a success. We celebrate Seuss because his works help children fall in love with reading and fill childhood with a positive imagination. In March we celebrate reading a lot, as we also have our Book Fair (19th-21st) and Tolkien Reading Day (25th).

Good Friday is March 29th. We will not have school, this will begin our Easter Break the week of April 1st-5th. This is our last major scheduled break for the year. Our Standardized testing is scheduled for the week of April 15th-19th.
